Why it matters

Costs are important in cloud exit planning because they help you:

• identify expensive dependencies that may become blockers
• estimate the potential cost of parallel-run / migration phases
• support prioritization and stakeholder conversations

If cost data is missing or incomplete, double-check:

• billing permissions
• account/subscription scope

What you will see

Depending on provider capabilities and permissions, cloudexit may show:

• monthly cost trend over a fixed period (commonly last 6 months)
• aggregated totals for the shown period
