Cost Overview
The Cost Overview shows how cloud spend evolved over time within the assessment scope.
It answers:
What is the financial footprint of the assessed environment?
Why it matters
Costs are important in cloud exit planning because they help you:
- identify expensive dependencies that may become blockers
- estimate the potential cost of parallel-run / migration phases
- support prioritization and stakeholder conversations
If cost data is missing or incomplete, double-check:
- billing permissions
- account/subscription scope
What you will see
Depending on provider capabilities and permissions, cloudexit may show:
- monthly cost trend over a fixed period (commonly last 6 months)
- aggregated totals for the shown period
